Old video recirculated as Tinubu’s ‘One Million Man March’ in Delta State

A video showing a small group of people holding in a street rally is circulating on social media with a claim that it shows supporters of Nigeria’s president Bola Tinubu holding a “One Million Man March” in Delta State, southern Nigeria.

The demonstrators wore green shirts and carried banner containing the logo of the All Progressives Congress and image of Tinubu.

The video was recently shared on X by an account, @Biapulse with a caption that reads:

“See Tinubu’s ‘One Million Man March’ in Delta State. The crowd is not even up to 50 people! One Million Man March or One Dozen Man March?”

The claim has generated over 25000 views and 25 retweets as of 25 September 2026.

CLAIM

FINDINGS

Findings by The FactCheckHub show that the claim is MISLEADING.

The video is not recent. It was already circulating online in September 2022, months before the 2023 general elections.

An earlier version of the video was posted on X on 6 September 2022, with a caption that referenced an APC one-million-man march in Delta State and tagged the official APC Nigeria account.

The caption read:

“See @OfficialAPCNg #1million match at Delta State. This is just a sign to let you know the doom awaiting the ruling political party. Nigerians. Please 🙏 let’s join our voices and hands together to make @PeterObi our Next President come #2023. Be #Obidient
#EndSARS”

This shows that the footage had already been circulated in 2022 in connection with an alleged APC march. The video has now resurfaced in 2026 with the claim that it shows a recent Tinubu supporters’ march.

VERDICT

The claim that the video shows a recent 2026 “One Million Man March” for Tinubu in Delta State is MISLEADING. The footage was already circulating in September 2022 and was associated with an APC march ahead of the 2023 elections.
