Our Corrections Policy

The FactCheckHub is here to serve the public through combating misinformation and disinformation campaigns by offering factual and verifiable information.

We, therefore, appreciate all who volunteer to contact, email or WhatsApp us in order to improve the work we do.

So, if you notice any error in our report, do not hesitate to contact us.

Feel free to reach out to us with your feedback, corrections, or complaints, stating what fact-check report you are commenting on, and precisely what your concern is.

You could also suggest data or research with clear links or human sources that can be useful to an already published fact-check.

If we make any factual error, we will correct it immediately and note it at the top of the original report by marking it as “EDITOR’S NOTE” and/or “CORRECTION” stating the correction and/or modified statement/paragraph(s) alongside an appropriate explanation or relevant date.

This will also be amplified via our social media platforms.

You can reach us via [email protected] OR WhatsApp: +2349030785265.

Our readers can also request a correction by filling the form below.

However, if you think we are violating the IFCN Code of Principles, you may notify the IFCN directly using this complaints page on the IFCN website. You can learn more about our Code of Principles that set us apart here.
