THE FINDINGS

Checks by The FactCheckHub show that the claim is MISLEADING!

A Google Reverse Image search conducted on the image showed that the bridge is not situated in Ebonyi state; rather, it is the Rebisi flyover bridge also known as Garrison flyover bridge situated in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.

According to media reports, the construction of flyover bridge commenced in 2019 by the then governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, but it was unveiled in 2020 by Babatunde Fashola, the then minister of Works and Housing.

The Rebisi (Garrison) flyover bridge is a 969.4 meters-long dual carriage flyover bridge.

Further findings showed that the Ebonyi state government had commissioned a flyover bridge in February 2023 in Afikpo South local government area of the state linking Ebonyi State to Abia, Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.

THE VERDICT

The claim that the images show flyover bridge in Ebonyi state is MISLEADING; the bridge is situated in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.
