THE FINDINGS

Findings by The FactCheckHub show that the claim is FALSE.

Checks revealed that President Tinubu is yet to nominate anyone for the ministerial positions in the country while no credible media platform published any report on the list of appointees which include names mentioned in the WhatsApp broadcast.

Media reports, however, indicated that Tinubu has only made four appointments public since his inauguration on May 29, 2023 as Nigeria’s president.

Premium Times had reported that Tinubu appointed Victor Adeleke as State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) on May 29, 2023.

THE VERDICT

The claim that Tinubu has listed new appointees and ministers for his cabinet is FALSE; findings show that the President has only made four appointments public since May 29 and none is ministerial appointment.
